I came to OMD UK at the end of 2019 on a mission to reinvent the role of strategy inside a media agency. And, whilst we didn’t get all the way there in 2021, we took a big leap towards it, creating an entirely new department founded on a new idea of what we do and how we do it – a department shaping marketing decisions, not just media plans, built with cutting-edge diagnostics and proprietary research with the help of analysts, coders and technologists. In a year of unstinting pressure, my leadership has put an expert and motivated team at the heart of our agency and our success – our people motivated, our expertise recognised, our work revolutionised and our impact, on existing clients and new business, unmatched.
