Thanks to Rachel’s passion for equity and equality, UM is also a core member of UN Women’s Unstereotype Alliance, whose most recent research findings were presented at the House of Lords, to shine a light on the challenges that ethnically diverse women still face in our industry.

This year we launched the Better World Media Partner Directory, a list of partners who are either diversely-owned, or who actively stand up for equality, and the Better World Media Marketplace, allowing the agency to programmatically activate campaigns using diverse media platforms and publishers. The launch formed part of our Better World Media Vision, which aims to harness the ability, influence and privilege that agencies have to make a positive impact in the world, and provide guidance to clients about how to make more ethical and equitable choices through media.
Outside of her day job, Rachel is an active member of WACL, having chaired the group’s talent award in previous years, as well as a regular contributor to industry events, thought leadership and awards.
