Well, now we’re turning that Challenger mentality to media, with the ambition to provide clients the same excellence in media planning, as we deliver in creative. We call it Media: Like It Should Be.
At the head of that charge is Simon Jenkins, our Joint Chief Strategy Officer, who has made a massive impact on our media business since he joined from Havas in mid-2018.
Jenko, as he’s known to many, has worked tirelessly as part of the new VCCP Media management team, to redefine the agency proposition around three pillars; strategy, neutrality and integrity, which is already getting huge traction with forward-thinking clients.
He brings a no-nonsense approach, believing every brand should act like a leader, regardless of status or budget, and is methodical about connecting the funnel for clients. His approach has delivered five notable pitch wins in the last 12 months, including Saga, GoDaddy and Organix, equating to £27m of new billings.
He has also supercharged VCCP Media’s data proposition, in the areas of attribution and econometrics, strengthening ties with clients and delivering significant organic income growth.
