2021 was the year that The Kite Factory achieved unprecedented growth. This year, we increased our billings by 15%, income by +23%, and EBITA by +45% YoY. We have achieved this extraordinary success for several reasons:

1) Our investment in our FlightDeck™ real-time dashboarding tool enabled us to help clients drive performance right across the customer journey, allowing them to deliver effects in the short term and build for the long term.

2) Our 80 brilliant clients and the results we have delivered, including WaterAid’s highest response rate in over a year, David Lloyd’s best-ever three months for member sales, and helping White Claw take the UK number one spot with 41% value share.

We also picked up multiple awards, including Media Week Gold and Third Sector Marketing Campaign Of The Year, and were one of 19 inaugural agencies to receive the IPA Effectiveness Accreditation.

3) Our incredible new business performance. We won a staggering 29 new clients this year, spending 2021 hovering in or around the Top 5 of the Campaign New Business Table.

4) The most crucial factor of all – our people. We grew from 61 to 95 talented people, and their commitment has enabled us to achieve everything outlined in this paper. It simply wouldn’t have been possible without them.
