Jennifer Black, Havas London

In 2020, Jennifer deftly guided her agency and clients to success through a pandemic. Many of the agency’s biggest clients were hard-hit, including three led by Jennifer - Molson Coors, the Department for Education and the British Beer & Pub Association.

As the nation’s parents became teachers in lockdown, Jennifer helped the Department for Education support them and the teaching community. As pubs shut she led Molson Coors and the British Beer & Pub Association to pivot. She also supported new client The Cabinet Office to co-ordinate the race for a vaccine for Coronavirus and led the launch of an online school to support teachers and kids during the national lockdown.

She was central to the agency’s stellar new business performance, helping it pull in a slew of new business wins, such as EDF, Cabinet Office, Honor, Pimco and the BBC. She helped Havas deepen client partnerships and scoop new assignments from clients, such as Molson Coors, Heinz and the Department for Education as well as expanding its scope of work with clients such as Peugeot and Citroën.

She was focused on making sure everyone at the agency had the support they need to advance and adapt, she drove through key flexible working and diversity initiatives, including “guard rails” to help remote working employees balance the fine line between work and home.
