Kevin The Carrot won Christmas for Aldi, crowned UK’s most effective festive campaign. We enlisted Christina Aguilera and rapper Latto to put their stamp on the Just Eat jingle; helped Nurofen change perceptions of women’s pain; got leaders in the Black trans community reimagined as 16th century paintings for Black Pride; rebranded CrossCountry trains; crowned Britain’s sweatiest gamer for Sky Broadband; and helped Durex create a buzz on Spotify. We achieved outstanding commercial growth picking up 53 new business wins, including Sky, Durex, KAYAK, Smirnoff, Entain Group, and Princess Yachts. We were crowned the Most Creatively Effective Agency network in Europe for an 8th year, Kevin the Carrot scooped a Global Grand Effie, we won a Campaign Big Award with eBay and a WARC Global Long-Term Effectiveness award with ALDI. We launched McCann Content Studios, expanding capabilities in Commerce, Social/Influencer, Audience/Production. We guided the industry through a challenging year, with proprietary research on European consumer attitudes, modern family dynamics and new workplace trends; piloted our Ambition Collective to close the Creative gender gap; and were recognised with a Women of the Future Award for advancing gender equality.
