Michael Butler, Essence

Michael Butler is Business Development Director at Essence and has been leading the business development team in EMEA since 2018. During his short time in the leadership role, Michael has been instrumental in bringing many of Britain’s leading brands to Essence’s impressive roster, delivering revenue growth in 2020 through wins of Sainsbury’s, Sainsbury’s Bank, ITV, Zoopla and Vistaprint, which follows hot on the heels of L’Oreal, Airbnb and Argos in 2019.

Michael is kind and considerate, intelligent and diplomatic, without losing the competitive edge which all new business high performers need to get the win over the line. Essence would not be able to achieve its new business success in a year dominated by Covid-19 if Michael was not at the helm managing its direction of travel.
