He joined OLIVER in 2019 as its first Global Chief Creative Officer. Under Rod’s leadership, OLIVER had its best performance to date - growing by 34% in the UK, becoming a reference for D&I, winning 71 creative awards and nominations in 2021 and being named Campaign’s runner-up 2020 Digital Innovation Agency of the Year and runner-up Customer Engagement Agency of the Year. OLIVER was also named Campaign’s EMEA Digital Network Of The Year, Global In-house Agency Of The Year with U-Studio, Unilever's in-house agency.
Besides leading OLIVER’s global network, Rod leads the UK agencies which act as the growth engine and innovation lab to the broader network.
Rod's a member of OLIVER's Change Board initiative, which educate the OLIVER network on D&I and anti-racism. He also created the Trinity, Connected Design and Beauty Crew capabilities setting new creative excellence benchmarks for the company. And he personally creative directed some of the agency's most successful work this year, including campaigns for Lynx, Rexona and Bovril.
