In one of the most challenging years on record for the advertising industry - a year which has seen many creative shops suffer commercially, culturally and creatively – Sarah led The&Partnership UK from the front with her well known humour, grit and determination.
Sarah has spent the past few years growing The&Partnership UK’s integrated, new-model approach, stripping away legacy silos and structures to bring all marketing disciplines together in one team alongside the client. Never content to stand still, in 2020 she has helped evolve this model through our innovative ‘distributed’ approach to creativity - an approach which has enabled us to flourish in spite of this year’s challenges.
Not only did she ensure we responded swiftly and effectively to COVID-19, creating new opportunities for our business, our people and our clients – she helped T&P UK defy the pandemic-driven advertising recession, picking up eight major pieces of new business, and retaining all existing clients. All this while picking up creative awards for clients including Argos and RNIB, and coveted effectiveness shortlists for British Gas.
Her leadership ensured the agency flexed across disciplines and channels, to help our clients shine online as market trends saw digital spend eclipse traditional spend for the first time.
