2025 was the year The Kite Factory proved that independence isn’t a limitation, it’s a competitive edge. While the industry navigated budget cuts, consolidation and widespread contraction, we moved forward with intention, delivering our fifth consecutive year of growth: +6% billings, +17% profit, 15 new clients bringing +£26m billings, a six-place rise to 26th in Nielsen Rankings and third in Campaign rankings.

We achieved this by staying disciplined in how we grow and laser-focused on where we create the most value. Long-term client partnerships and a clearer strategic core powered standout work for brands including British Red Cross, Celsius, David Lloyd Clubs, Oxfam and LTA, contributing to 9 shortlists and 5 major award wins. Innovation also levelled up. KiteConnect™ launched as our unified AV effectiveness system, Ascend™ consultancy accelerated to 4% of agency revenue, and ISO 42001 certification cemented our leadership in responsible, transparent AI governance. A reimagined leadership team and a deeply engaged culture underpinned it all, reflected in industry-low voluntary churn, 92% staff pride and continued Best Places to Work recognition. For us, 2025 was all about acceleration, of our confidence, our capability and our ambition, proving that independent, creative and effective media can scale, sustainably and consistently.
