What a year. Amid the chaos, a decade of digital transformation was squeezed into 12 months. Thankfully our unique agency model proved adept at helping clients meet the challenges and opportunities of this global shockwave.

As most networks experienced major reversals, we defied advertising gravity, retaining all of our clients and picking up 28 new ones, including Mars, Google, BAT, LG, Pets At Home and Co-op. We added £12M+ in fees, a 12.8% YOY growth.

Our &Model, integrating creative, strategy, production and media in single dedicated customised teams, is increasingly recognised as truly futureproof. We augmented it in 2020 by diversifying our people, skills and output, as well as embracing distributed working, so teams are no longer limited by geography or timezone.

The result has been some of our very best work, winning awards in every discipline; Marketing Week Masters Effectiveness winners (second year running); three gold, five silver and eight bronze at Creative Circle; a Creative Review Award for product design … to name but few. More broadly, we were 12th in the Sunday Times International Track 250 and one of Fast Company’s ‘Most Innovative Companies 2020’.

We’re proud to lead from the front and haven’t been afraid to get on our soapbox this year, whether encouraging clients to hold their marketing nerve in lockdown or blazing a trail the underrepresented in advertising.
