In a year when everyone was throwing it all at the wall to see what stuck, we did more than ever to earn the trust and confidence of clients, Creators and the industry.

We started the year flying the flag for Creators and the Creator Economy at 10 Downing Street, presenting our “Creator Britannia” keynote to the Prime Minister. We revealed the year's first major effectiveness research, with Kantar, on how Creator brand building actually works, and shared it industry wide from Cannes. (Since verified by the IPA in their findings.) As Co-Chairs of the Influencer Marketing Trade Body we continued to raise standards for ethical industry practices and growth to make our space better for talent and consumers alike. We responded to an anxious market that needed brand safe Creator solutions and beefed up our proprietary tech with AI to help enhance and speed up human decision making. We introduced Whalar Studios, our unique production unit combining creatives and Creators, to create episodic, own-able storytelling. And in so doing narrated our own story as the rock-solid industry leaders who were rewarded with +40% business growth, +28% improved staff retention, 25 new brands and 7 Agency of Record appointments.
