One of the UKs leading tech marketers, Kelly Engstrom is a bold and brave business leader who prides herself in driving maximum impact, with maximum reach. She has been at the forefront of brand marcoms for more than 20 years and now has the audacious remit of driving both Britain's biggest tech brand, EE whilst critically reinvigorating the unmissable and energetic broadband provider, Plusnet. It's a role that means delivering trusted networks but more critically ensuring the nation, in its entirety, is always truly connected whether managing the day to day hustle, in covid lockdowns or celebrating Euro sporting triumphs. As brand guardian, in her day-to-day Kelly is responsible for delivering the platform for every comms channel from brand ATL to digital commerce to retail, as well as live experiential and events. Her approach is driven by a principle of creating 'freedom in a framework' for every one of the brands communications employees and building deep and reciprocal partnerships with some of the world's biggest and most exciting tech, media and agency partners, including Apple, Samsung, Microsoft, Publicis, WPP and Havas. Across her 250 years in the world of brand and communications Kelly has led on multiple disciplines including brand building, demand generation, brand design and sponsorship. In this time she has delivered canon-defining work; including the visionary, Cannes awarded 'Life is for Sharing' T-Mobile campaign, relaunching the iconically playful Plusnet brand to modernise the value player, and most recently as the co-architect of EE's shift from mobile business to a share-of-life business driving market leading growth in both broadband and gaming markets. Now, as the world of tech, data and brand rapidly converges she is delivering the holy grail of faster, smarter and better value with a re-designed production approach for the brands £100m+ marcoms model; ultimately responsible for executing and ensuring delivery of ambitious ROI metrics that fuels activity from brand showcases through to sales page traffic.
